2007 Honda Odyssey Tire Size

Your Honda was manufactured with different tire sizes.  To determine the best tire size for your specific 2007 Honda Odyssey, we first need to determine your rim size.  Please review the information below.

How to Determine Rim Size

Check your existing tires.  Your Honda Odyssey's rim size is the number to the right of the R.  In the example pictured here, the tire size fits 16-inch rims.

103

This tire has a load index of 103, which means it's capable of carrying a load of 1925 pounds (875 kg) or less.  A higher number means the tire can carry more weight.  A lower number means the opposite.

65

This number means that your tire has an aspect ratio of 65%.  In other words, your tire's sidewall height (from the edge of the rim to the tire's tread) is 65% of the width.  In this case, the sidewall height works out to be 152 millimeters.

A

The A mark reveals that this is a PAX system wheel or tire with an asymmetric bead.

Michelin created the PAX system as a new way to provide run-flat capability.  There is a reinforced polymer support ring that runs around the rim, followed by the usual air-filled tire on the outside of that.  If the air-filled tire gets punctured, you can drive on the support ring for about 100 miles.  Keep in mind that you must drive at a slower speed (max of 50 mph or 80 km/h).  One disadvantage to the PAX system is that you can't use regular tires on PAX wheels or rims.  This is because PAX tires have asymmetric beads.  In other words, the inside bead and the outside bead have a different diameter.  In a typical case, a 460 PAX tire will have an outside bead diameter of 450 millimeters and inside bead diameter of 470 millimeters.
